Palm Springs airport plans to save money with desert landscaping

Much of the lawns at the Palm Springs International Airport will give way to desert landscaping, saving millions of gallons of water every year, and putting the airport on course with the city’s sustainability plan.

Less lawn should be mandatory – however public and client perceptions of neatness etc are slow to change.
